FRITCHLEY QUAKER MEETING
Fritchley has an active body of Quakers. The meeting
house, built in 1897 to a traditional "chapel" design is situated
in the centre of the village. Fritchley is unusual in
that it has a rural village setting and was for 70 years
outside London Yearly Meeting and operated independently.
It has been a full part of (now) Britain Yearly Meeting
for over 40 years and has a diverse membership.
Meeting is held every Sunday, as normal, with other
topical meetings held during the week from time to time.
Children's class operates on demand. We currently have
teenagers associated with families of the meeting.
