DERBY QUAKER MEETING
Derby is famous for being the town where Quakers were given their name by the Justice in the time of George Fox.
The meeting house, built in 1808 to a traditional Quaker design, is situated on the northern edge of Derby City centre.
Meeting for Worship is held every Sunday and there is a weekly children's class at the same time. Other meetings on various topics of interest are held from time to time, usually on Sunday afternoons.
A warm welcome awaits visitors and enquirers !
